doodles of characters from the manga Kaze Hikaru by Watanabe Taeko.
top left: Okita Soji
top right: Tominaga Sei (actually being a girl)
bottom left: Hijikata Toshizo
bottom right: Harada Sanosuke


for the most part i like the historical character's designs better in Kaze Hikaru compared to Peacemaker Kurogane, but i did a cross between PMK and KH for Hijikata here, since KH doesnt make him scary enough but PMK doesnt make him handsome enough.

and after i finished Sei i lost all my patience for the others. D: sorry.


also, it's unfinished because oekaki doesnt let you go back D: at least, not the one i'm using. D:
not gonna be finished, sadly. :(
i started on Okita's hair but then called it a night. :XD:

ah...well...
Okita is a guy. ^^; yeah i know hard to believe.
Okita Soji was a real man, as were the two other guys in this picture. Sei, however, is a fictional girl made for the series.
for some reason no matter what anime they write okita into, he's almost always feminine...in Peacemaker Kurogane he's even MORE feminine, but i like the Kaze Hikaru version of him better.

Gah, Okita is so adorable in this..and not the super gay Peacemaker adorable, the Kaze Hikaru adorable. XD I want his haiiiir...
